DISCLAIMER

Group Therapy

As the editor, I feel it is my responsibility to be completely transparent for the group, Group Therapy that is. As a disclaimer, I want to assure our audience that we are NOT irresponsible drunks. Quite the opposite! We are employed; raising healthy, respectful children (4 have already graduated from college); are devoted members of churches, and school PTOs; have always volunteered in our communities and respect conventional wisdom when it comes to alcohol consumption. PLEASE keep in mind that this is a BLOG, about three life-long friends who chose to take a trip to celebrate their 50th year on this planet. We never, not once, got behind the wheel of a Mexican car to drive after drinking margaritas, nor did We perform any labor intensive tasks where someone's life hung in the balance after a few glasses of wine. We 3 girls (remember, I still think of us that way) had way too much fun being together to be dependent on alcohol for the fun that we had on this trip. It was certainly a nice addition, but not a necessity. While ngaging in our humor, please keep these truths about us in mind and also know that We don't condone:
  1. Underage drinking
  2. ANY form of drug use (not talking about Advil in the morning)
  3. Drinking then driving
There are probably other things we don't condone, but this list should suffice for now. We truly hope you enjoy reading about this adventure in the spirit in which it is being written. We are simply 3 friends who took a break from reality, to enjoy each other, adult beverages, too much food, too much sun and total freedom, for seven days . . . and we had a BLAST! Hence, Group Therapy. As they say at nGage Today, we hope you nJoy the rest of our story.
